5 pounds is VERY heavy. I thought it would be more evenly distributed throughout the sloth, but it's all packed in the body alone so it is basically a bowling ball. It was very disappointing. It's super cute, soft though!

Purchase was quick but shipping took a little long due to handmade nature of item. Seller was upfront about shipping time and remained very accessible and friendly. Item arrived well packed and not deformed as many dolls get. It is adorable and my daughter was VERY HAPPY.
